Do your products work with Final Cut Pro 7?
For the most part, no. Most of our products are only compatible with Final Cut Pro X. However, our Organic Light Leaks and Cinema Grain Plugin can be used with most video editing applications, including FCP 6 & 7.
Do I need Motion to use your plugins?
No, you do not need to have Motion to use any of our products.
How do I get the products after I purchase?
After completing the checkout process; your purchases will be available for immediate download. You will also receive an email with a link for future downloads incase something happens to your Mac and you need to reinstall.
How do I install these plugins?
We've made the install process extremely easy. Simple download the .zip file containing your purchase and run the installer (.pkg file). The installer will put everything in the right place and have you editing again in no time.
Where do you get the music for the demo videos?
The music in our videos is purchased from Audiojungle.net.
Can I use more than one discount code at a time?
No, only one discount code can be used per order.
What's the difference between Poor Man's Light Effects & Organic Light Leaks?
Poor Man's Light Effects was one of the first products available from FCPeffects. It features computer-generated lens flares and light leaks.
Organic Light Leaks is one of our most popular products. It is a bundle of over 150 light effects (video files) that are used as overlays or transitions in your videos.
Can I install your products on more than one machine?
Yes, you can install each product on up to 3 of your machines.
