Sliding split transitions for Final Cut Pro

Overview

Slide Splitter is a collection of well over 100 transitions for Final Cut Pro that split the frame into sections that slide and bounce, adding stylish energy to your projects.

Drag one between two clips. Horizontal and vertical versions split the frame into sections that move on their own, with bounce and acceleration controls for each one.

Add a border between the sections, in your choice of colors, with its own animation timing.

Every preset comes with motion blur on or off. Make the transition wider to slow it down.

How to use

In the Transitions browser sidebar, click My FCPeffects, then Slide Splitter (scroll down if needed).
Drag a transition between two clips. If Final Cut Pro asks, click Create Transition.
Drag the edges of the transition to make it longer (slower) or shorter (faster).
Select it and adjust the movement, delay, speed and bounce for each section in the Inspector.
Set Border.Width above 0 to add borders, and pick their colors.
