Do you offer bundles?

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, etc.), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal.

How do I get the products after I purchase?

After checking out; there will be a link to download on the confirmation page. You will also receive an email with a link to download your purchase. You can also create an account to access your purchases anytime you like.

How do I install these plugins?

We've made the installation process extremely easy. Simply download the file and run the installer (the .app file). The installer will put everything in the right place and have you editing in no time. 

Do your products work with 4K?

Yes, our products are designed to work with all resolutions supported by Final Cut Pro X.

How do I download my previous purchases?

Click on the "Create Account" link in the top right corner of the screen. Create an account with the same email address that you used when you purchased from us. You will then be able to log in and download your previous purchases.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes, if you're not happy with your purchase, let us know within 30 days and we can issue a refund.

Do I have to pay taxes?

Only in the EU. If you are a consumer (i.e. not part of a business) and live in an area where we are required to collect digital goods VAT tax (the European Union), yes you will have to pay the tax rate of your country.

If you are a tax exempt business customer and are charged tax during checkout, contact us within 24 hours of placing your order with the proper tax identification information and we will refund the amount you paid in tax and make your account tax exempt to prevent you from being charged tax in the future.

Where do you get the music for your videos?

A lot of the music we've used came from Audio Jungle.

However, recently, we've been using the awesome tools from FCP Audio. Their "Soundstacks" make it incredibly easy to arrange music inside your FCPX timeline, giving you complete control over the length and sound.

Are your products compatible with the latest versions of Final Cut Pro X and macOS?

Yes, all of our products are compatible with the latest versions of FCP X and macOS.

Why does the Finishing Plugin cause my clips to turn red?

We fixed a bug after the release of Final Cut Pro 10.3 that resolved this issue. We sent the update to the email address you gave us when you purchased the plugin. If you didn't get that email, you can download the updated plugin by creating an account, downloading the new version and reinstalling the plugin.

Are your products compatible older versions of Final Cut Pro X?

All of our products (except for a few that are clearly marked on their product pages - i.e. Skin Smoother & Keyframe Replacer) are compatible with FCP 10.0.6 and higher.

How do I update the plugins that I purchased?

When an update is released, we will send you an email. If you've unsubscribed from our emails, you'll need to resubscribe using the same email address you used when you made your purchase. 

What's the difference between the HDR Plugin, the Finishing Plugin, and Sharpener?

These plugins are somewhat similar in what they can do, however each serves a distinct purpose. The HDR and Sharpener plugins are very specialized, whereas the Finishing Plugin is more versatile.

The HDR Plugin uses advanced keying techniques to increase the dynamic range of a shot, giving you a very high degree of control over the look of your clips.

Sharpener allows you to do detailed sharpening with a very high degree of precision.

The Finishing Plugin is capable of doing a lot of basic adjustments. Again, it's the most versatile of these three plugins, but offers only basic controls where the others are more specialized.  

What's the difference between Screen Splitter 2 and Screen Splitter Transitions?

Both are split screen plugins at their core and can be used independently, so you don't need one in order to use the other.

Screen Splitter 2 is a collection of 123 non-animated, split screen effects that can be applied to your clips to create 1000's of different arrangements. 

Screen Splitter Transitions is a collection of 100 animated, split screen transitions that can be applied between your clips.

Watch their videos closely and you should be able to see the difference, if not, contact us and we'd be happy to help clarify it for you.

What happened to the Whip Pan & Tilt Transition Bundle?

The Whip Pan and Tilt Transition Bundle was replaced by the Zoom Transitions plugin. The new plugin does everything the previous version did and more. If you purchased the Whip Pan and Tilt Transition Bundle and would like to upgrade to Zoom Transitions, contact us for a special discount, be sure to include the name or email address that you used at the time of your purchase.

What happened to the Fisheye Removal Plugin?

The Fisheye Removal Plugin was replaced by the Action Cam Essentials plugin. Action Cam Essentials does everything that the Fisheye Removal Plugin could do plus a lot more. If you purchased the Fisheye Removal Plugin and would like to upgrade to Action Cam Essentials, contact us for a special discount, be sure to include the name or email address that you used at the time of your purchase.

Do I need to have Apple Motion installed to use your effects?

No, you do not need Apple Motion to use any of our products. 

Do your products work with Final Cut Pro 6, 7 & Express?

For the most part, no. Most of our products are only compatible with Final Cut Pro X. However, Organic Light Leaks, Anamorphic Lens Flares, and Cinema Film Grain can be used with most video editing applications, including FCP 6, 7 & Express.

I purchased the first version Advanced Masking Tools, can I upgrade to version 2 without having to pay full price?

Yes, Advanced Masking Tools 2 is available at a discounted price for customers who purchased the first version of the plugin. We sent out an email about this following the release of version 2. If you purchased the first version and did not receive the email about upgrading, contact us and we'll send you the discount code as soon as possible.

Your website won't accept my credit card. What should I do?

Make sure that you have correctly entered the address associated with the card and the CVV code on the back. If either of these are incorrect, your card will be declined.

If you're certain that you have entered this information correctly, call the phone number on your card and ask why it's not being accepted.

Can I use more than one discount code per order?

No, only one discount code can be used per order.

What's happened to the Poor Man's Lens Flare Plugin?

The plugin called "Poor Man's Lens Flares" has been replaced by the new and improved Lens Flare Plugin. If you purchased "Poor Man's Len Flares", you should have received an email notifying you about the upgrade process. If you did not receive the email and would like to upgrade your copy, contact us and we'll provide you with the upgrade discount code.

Can I install your products on more than one machine?

Yes, you can install each copy of our products that your purchase on up to 3 of your machines.

Do you offer special discounts for students, educators, members of the military, seniors, and on birthdays?
