Folding and unfolding transitions for Final Cut Pro

Overview

Unfold is a collection of folding transitions for Final Cut Pro. Your shots fold away and unfold into the next, in two-part and three-part folds from any side.

They are simple drag-and-drop transitions with no settings to configure. Change the length to change the speed.

Sound effects are included in your download. Add them to your timeline by hand, since Final Cut Pro transitions cannot carry sound.

Unfold works great with Screen Splitter 2 for stylish split screen sequences.

Features

Two-part and three-part folds: fold to, or unfold from, the top, bottom, left or right.
Drag and drop: no settings to configure.
Speed by length: make the transition longer for a slower fold.
Sound effects included: add them from Finder or import them into an event.
Works with Screen Splitter 2: fold whole split screen layouts.
Simple workflow: double-click the duration to type an exact length.

How to use

In the Transitions browser sidebar, click My FCPeffects, then Unfold (show the sidebar if it is hidden).
Drag a transition between two clips.
Drag its edges, or double-click the time display and type a length, to set the speed.
Add the included sound effects to your timeline under the transition.
With Screen Splitter 2, make each split screen stack a compound clip (Option-G) before adding Unfold.
