Finishing Plugin 2 puts the final touches on your video in Final Cut Pro: levels, contrast, detail, softening, saturation, hue and color balance, each for the whole image or just the shadows, midtones or highlights.

Start from a ready-made look preset, or from the Default preset, which changes nothing until you adjust it. Raise the shadow floor for a milky shadow look, or add the Blockbuster look.

Reframe your shots with on-screen position, scale and rotation, plus framing guides and a warning layer that shows any gaps.

How to use

In the Effects browser sidebar, click My FCPeffects, then Finishing Plugin 2 (show the sidebar if it's hidden).
Drag a preset onto your clip. Default makes no changes until you adjust it.
In the Inspector, adjust the Levels, Vibrancy, Details and color controls.
Use Position, Scale and Rotation to reframe. Turn on Framing.Guides or Warning.Layer to help.
Turn the framing guides off again before you export.
