Light leak transitions for Final Cut Pro

Overview

The Light Orb Transition Bundle is a collection of easy-to-use light leak transitions for Final Cut Pro. Glowing orbs of light drift across the frame as one clip dissolves into the next.

All 60 presets are customizable and fast to render, plus a Custom version to build your own.

Each orb has its own shape (circle or hexagon), blend mode, opacity, size, blur and flicker, and you can set where it starts and ends and when it appears.

Control the dissolve speed and the blur between clips, and turn off the clips while you design so you can see the orbs better.

How to use

In the Transitions browser sidebar, click My FCPeffects, then Light Orb Transition Bundle (show the sidebar if it is hidden).
Drag a preset between two clips.
To use one during a single clip, make a cut (Command-B) and add the transition there.
Select it, park the playhead over it, and adjust the orbs in the Transition tab of the Inspector.
Turn on Disable.Clips to see the orbs better while you design, then turn it off before you export.

Disable.Clips may be on. Turn it off before you export.
