Format and export social media videos in Final Cut Pro

Overview

The Social Media Plugin lets you format and export videos for social media from Final Cut Pro, in several sizes for platforms like Instagram, Snapchat and Twitter.

It comes with 20 title presets for aspect ratios like 1:1, 4:5, 9:16 and 1.91:1, each with or without text, plus 30 export presets. You do not need Compressor installed.

Place a preset above your clips to frame them for the platform you want, then export with the matching preset.

It is designed for 720p, 1080p and 4K (16:9) projects.

How to use

  4. Adjust the framing and text in the Title Inspector.
  5. Export with the matching custom export preset.
