Zooming intro sequence plugin for Final Cut Pro

Overview

Zoomer is a collection of Final Cut Pro plugins that make it easy to create dynamic zooming intro sequences. A virtual camera flies through a series of your clips or photos.

Choose a version that zooms in or out, through 4 or 9 clips. Add your media to the Drop Zones, and the camera does the rest.

Customize the camera's view angle, how far apart the layers are, the camera move and rotation, depth of field blur, zoom blur and the mask the camera travels through.

Clone layers add mirrored copies around the Drop Zones for wider camera views.

How to use

In the Titles browser sidebar, click My FCPeffects, then Zoomer (show the sidebar if it is hidden).
Drag a preset, like Zoomer - In 4 Clips, into your timeline.
Click each Drop Zone in the Inspector and choose a clip or photo. For video clips from your timeline, make them compound clips (Option-G) first.
Adjust the camera move, rotation and layer spacing.
Add depth of field and zoom blur to taste.

How many clips can I use?

There are versions for 4 clips and for 9 clips, zooming in or out.

Why does my video clip show as a still frame?

When you pick a clip from your timeline, make it a compound clip (Option-G) first so it plays.

Can I add depth of field?

Yes. Use DOF.Blur.Amount and DOF.Depth.

Can I rotate the camera?

Yes. Set Camera.Rotate.Start and its delay, speed and ease.
